What makes a bedtime routine app useful?
A checklist can help you remember habits. A sound app can play rain. A meditation app can guide a session. Somnori's angle is different: the routine is the entry point into the night system, not a standalone activity that ends when the track stops.
The routine can be simple
A useful sequence does not need ten steps. For example:
- start a calm soundscape;
- play or read a short practice;
- use a personal autosuggestion or intention;
- leave Night Assistant ready;
- go to sleep without opening another app.
What is already part of Somnori's before-sleep layer
- calm music and nature audio;
- before-sleep practices;
- autosuggestion / intention audio;
- night mode that continues after the before-sleep phase.
The public site should only describe exact sequencing controls as available once the final UI and behavior are verified in the release build.
Bedtime routine vs. sleep content library
| Need | Large sleep library | Somnori direction |
|---|---|---|
| Many sounds / sessions | Often a major strength | Smaller, intentional set |
| Personal sequence | Varies by app | Core product direction |
| Night utilities after falling asleep | Usually separate | Same night system |
| Capture a thought or dream later | Usually separate | Same Night Assistant |
| Wake protocol | Varies | Planned next layer |
Why Somnori should not become a giant sleep-content catalog
The product does not need thousands of meditations to be useful. The stronger idea is a personal protocol: a smaller set of sound, practices and suggestions that you actually choose, combined with the night functions you use after the lights are off.
Morning belongs to the same design
The next product layer is a configurable wake protocol: alarm, chosen sound, a morning cue or autosuggestion, then a transition into Morning. That sequence is not presented as a shipped function yet. It is the natural continuation of the same protocol model.
No medical promise
Somnori can support a personal routine, reflection and relaxation practice. It is not a treatment for insomnia or another sleep disorder, and the site should not promise that a specific routine, sound or suggestion will produce a medical outcome.
